Our first clinic we would like to introduce is the V.E.C. Verdun Aesthetic Center in Beirut, Lebanon and Mrs. Jacinthe Francis who is working in the clinic.

Mrs. Francis where are you from and what is your profession?
I am from Beirut, Lebanon and I am a physiotherapist since 1999.

Please tell us a bit about your clinic:
The Clinic is located in the center of Beirut (Verdun 732-F1) in Lebanon and was founded in March 2006.

What lasers do you have?
We have a MeDioStar XT since March 2006.

What kind of Marketing did you start to make patients aware of your service?
We trained and also treated the staff. We did ads in local magazines and on radio and offered free treatment for test. We hang up my laser course certificates in the waiting room as well as self-made posters about the treatment.
Our door sign also informs about the laser treatment.
Further we created flyers informing about the laser treatment and put them in duty free shops and hotels. We also have a business card to give to people who are interested.
We also have an own homepage and last but not least we are the reference clinic for Asclepion in Lebanon and Syria.

How many patients have you treated with the laser and how many do you treat per day?
In the clinic we treated 121 patients until the beginning of November 2006 and about 5 patients a day.

So the laser treatment increased your patient numbers?
Yes, we had 121 patients within 6 month!

How much do you charge for the treatment?
For full body we charge 1500$ for lower leg 220$ and for bikini zone 150-200$ for example.

What do you think the trends in laser treatment will be?
I think the focus should be to create a treatment therapy without any pain and avoiding or treating black spots on darker skin.

Would you buy a new laser to keep up with the trend? Which?
Yes, I would buy a new laser, because that could be my future income. My first choice laser would be the TattooStar.
