Technical Features


Reliable, fast and powerful
The TattooStar can be in long operation, even in regions with higher temperatures and higher humidity, at a maximum speed of 2 Hz (Ruby) or 10 Hz (Nd:YAG). This makes it one of the fastest and most reliable systems on the market. Its unmatched power output enhances your application spectrum, along with your flexibility and efficiency. The unique free running mode (Nd:YAG) allows for larger spots, resulting in faster treatment allowing for rejuvenation as an additional application.

Nd:YAG dual wavelength (1064 nm / 532 nm) and Ruby (694 nm)
Three wavelengths give physicians the flexibility to adapt treatments precisely to the patient’s needs and to a wide range of pigment colors (from darker colors to red).

Dye handpiece (585 nm)
A special dye handpiece with a wavelength of 585 nm allows for treating an even broader color spectrum, such as blue tattoos. It is even effective on tattoos that were previously treated with other lasers and are grey or pale as a result.

Microlens array with “homogeneous spot”
An exclusive system with microlenses by Asclepion Laser Technologies replaces the traditional lens system. It creates a homogeneous spot (as opposed to a “hot spot”) by distributing the laser energy in a perfectly uniform manner. This eliminates the necessity to overlap and prevents over-treatment. Avoiding hot spots in this manner results in lower pain and bleeding levels. In short, the microlens array delivers improved treatment and healing.

Q-Switched Mode
The ultra-short pulses of the Q-switched make it possible to burst the particles without any thermal side effects or scars. This increases patient comfort.

Square spot with automatic spot size detection
The special shape of the TattooStar spots is designed to guarantee optimal coverage of the treatment area with greater efficiency. Unlike conventional circular spots, the square spot prevents “gaps” and overtreatment. Automatic spot detection allows for treating different conditions on every part of the body in a fast, safe and efficient way.
